In all games from the Bioshock series, the main character is the city itself. Passing the game, the gamer will collect audio days telling about the inhabitants of delight themselves, about its founder Andrew Rainan and many other significant personalities in the life of the underwater city. The player also learns about the scientific discoveries and experiments of outstanding scientists. And most importantly, what served as a civil war and the decomposition of society is delighted. But not by audio days uniform – a detailed environment within the city will be able to illuminate many things.
From a gameplay point of view, not everything is so successful. The game itself is a first -person shooter using plasmids (local magic). There is almost no feeling of shooting from weapons, you simply do not enjoy how the guns shoot, although the skirmishes with opponents come out dynamic. The same plasmids will come to the rescue, but not everything is very good with them either. They are an improvement in the capabilities of the hero and giving special abilities like telekinesis, frost, electric shock, etc. But sometimes it’s simply inconvenient in the midst of the battle to switch from a gun to plasmid and vice versa, since you can use only one. But they bring plasmids good variety in shooting mechanics, and at least it is rare to combine, but when it still comes out, you get real pleasure and wait for the next fight to try something else like.
Opponents are found of varying degrees of importance. Here you have ordinary splaskers who perform the function of distraught mutants and large daddy, and various techniques.
